I mean this event is cool but Niantic did not make the event 10 hours with the intention of someone playing the whole day. The purpose of 10 hours is to make sure everyone “can” play at some point because people have lives. Work school etc. the shiny rates will likely be 1/20. Most people will get a shiny of each and stop playing the game after roughly 1 hour. That’s all it’s truly gonna take unless you have some bad luck. And let’s slow are roll about the level increase. I’d say maybe around 25% to 35% of people who play pokemon go have reached level 40 yet alone 50 lol there not raising the level cap again to even further diminish new players from wanting to play. All you 1%ers who already have enough XP to reach level 70 are just going to have to wait. It’s not happening anytime soon so don’t stress about XP unless you’re under level 40. Once you reach 40 literally nothing is different. It’s just a number.

For me, shinies would be ok, but looking forward more to the exp. Level 45 almost halfway to 46, so this helps.

Finally something that doesn’t punish the only skill required in this game for progression. I like this event because I have focused on learning how to catch the different pokemon at different angles for excellent or in the least great throws. Nice throw should be 100, great 500, excellent 1000

I just hope that the Shiny Rate is better than Unova Tour’s joke of a Shiny Rate. I like these mons and am hoping to get some Archens (0) and Omanytes (1).

I’d like to see more of these in the future. These are fun and emphasize a part of the game that everyone has some control over…

great time to get enough XL candies to get to L50 for my 100% IV Kabutops, Omastar and Archeops and since I am level 49 and need 999 excellent throws, it will be perfect (232 more to go)
