I love the fact you made it clear tgat hybrids can’t be truly immortal like the full ones can. Ortis is an overseer, meaning his DNA is magically enhanced through that i assume, and he’s with the most potent of god bloodlines, so their kids together would be immortal for sure, but when their kids have kids with mortals, that dna is diluted like that of demigods from multiple mythologies, meaning even if they have powers they will still age and die eventually. That story bit is a really interesting thing to do, because if you’d just said “they age slower but upon reaching a certain age just stop aging and stay alive until slain” it would be pretty overpowered. After all, if any descendants would have to be immortal, the bloodline would never end. However, this means technically ortis and mythal could create more godquellers by having more kids who are immortal. I doubt they’d do that hiwever, considering after thousands of years they still only had those 3 children, Talé’s dad and his two sisters. Maybe they just decided 3 was enough, maybe they didn’t want to risk a child of theirs being turned into a weapon for others, maybe they decied having more now would be awkward to have to explain to a kid their siblings are thousands of years older than they are, i don’t know. But if they really wanted to they could have more kids. Or if their kids had kids with other gods or overseers of other universes, would that lead to immortal children or still lead to the demigod level ones? Maybe the bloodline is destined to dilute after the second generation of them, meaning mythal’s kids are the only ones who can be full ones, and if Lorna had any the same could be said of her kids. Or maybe it truly is the fact it’s with mortals that the grandkids must be more mortal, and if Lorna had kids with mortals (doubt it) it’d be the same way. If ortis wasn’t an overseer upon having kids with mythal, maybe their kids wouldn’t even be immortal. This is so interesting, great work

It’s awesome to see you bringing back, not only previous series/concepts, but even older work into your videos! All of these ideas/drawings are the building blocks of how you’ve gotten to where you are today and that’s something to celebrate!
(Also can’t wait for this arc to bring both the Sharp Gang and Mythal Lethal to come together as allies and not only take down Ludum, but giving us a legitimate roster to fight and defeat Tarsa).
