Something tells me that they’ll probably release Pokémon HOME after doing the last two starters, Delphox and Rillaboom for 7 Star Raid Events. I’ve had that thought in the back of my head for a while starting with Typhlosion.

They could just not know when it’ll be ready, so they don’t wanna get our hopes up even though that’s basically what they did with this mistake. Best case scenario, they wanted it to be a surprise but accidentally published the date and they’re trying to salvage the surprise. Most likely thing though is whoever made the post somehow made a mistake and added a release date, whether they misheard the actual date or made an assumption is yet to be seen.

I was thinking the same thing. Why make that announcement in the first place? What does “soon” mean? I assumed that they would make sure that everything in an announcement is correct and accurate before posting the announcement. This is weird.
