Niantic has never seemed like they understand why people like they game they are making. I feel like people still play this game in spite of them, not because of them.

Uninstalling PoGo on both my phones. Unsubscribing to all my Pokemon Go channels that don’t even mention this issue.

The incense will be a big hurt for me. Due to epilepsy I can only go out doors with other people for my safety. So if my friends and family are busy I miss out on community days etc.

Besides, anyone who passes up on that beautiful shiny Heracross, over pokestop spin distance is a fool. And to be completely honest, if I were Niantic to make a point about it, and remind everyone who’s in charge… I would not release shiny heracross outside of this event. Therefore any and everyone boycotting the game over this, will have a tough decision on their hands between making a point, and full-blown FOMO.

Let’s keep it really real here, anyone that played this game with the expectation of permanent pandemic bonuses was fooling themselves. They made it very clear from the beginning these were temporary to help during the height of what some people consider a pandemic. I for one never expected these bonuses to last as long as they did, and I 1000% continue with all intentions of playing the way I have been the entire time. That’s not to say I don’t understand or sympathize with those who are truly upset about this reverting back, and if I’m being honest what I myself, and what I suspect a lot of other people are most upset about is the complete lack of communication from Niantic. But to play devil’s advocate here, you have to understand if they bend the knee right now and give in to these demands… They will move forward knowing the public outcry and cancel culture will not allow them to ever refuse demands in the future. If they give in to this right now over very vocal, yet still realistically small percentage of players it will be over for their chances of ever saying no again
