What a shiny was… When I was little I had a 3DS with Pokémon Y. Loved the game to death. Upon one of many reset, I was confused why my Braixen was pink. I don’t why I didn’t notice them being silver before they evolved… obviously, dumb child with no knowledge of shiny Pokémon, proceeds to reset AGAIN to get the “cool yellow one” Only months later did I learn about it, aaaaand my first and only shiny starter is goooooooone..

With every new Pokémon game that comes out, I keep speculating that it won’t be some lazy game regurgitating out the same assets over and over again whilst promising me the moon and sun. Ive been lucky with my guesses so far

I definitely thought Sylveon was flying, but that was only because Sylphs are air fairies. It seemed like a logical conclusion at the time becuase I didn’t believe they’d actually retcon older mons into being fairy type.
