Yeah as long as people keep buying stuff for crazy prices why would they stop selling em for those prices. I’m not buying stuff for 16 dollars a pack just because it’s new like get out of town lol
scalpers are still gunna sponge everything up while people who work 9 to 5 like me are busy.
I’m with you Dr. A. Haven’t opened any of my Surging Sparks.
Thank you for continuing to call out the distributors for scalping. Pokemon need to hear this loud and clear and take action against their distributors. I want to see Pokemon support the LGS by supply them directly and cut out the distributors.
The Pokémon company needs to take charge of its own distribution, or start putting down more stringent regulations for these private distribution companies before any noticeable change is seen in the market, there can be 100 reprints and the situation won’t change if the flow of product is controlled and being drip fed to the consumer by private distribution companies, who frankly have too much to lose if they can’t control the amount of product that is in the marketplace at any given point of time.
This is exactly whats going to happen. I just commented on pokeplumbers video this exact thing a couple weeks ago. If surging sparks is at 260 id be shocked if i got it from distro for under 220. The release will drive the price down and anyone with distro will have to sell boxes they bought for 220 at 230. If they sell above market everyone will scream scalper and try to ruin peoples jobs for not doing whats in their best interest. Cant wait
I refuse to pay over msrp
Left the hobby. Im not paying over MSRP. Ill put my money where im appreciated and considered! F u to distro scalpers and rip n shippers.
Best unrealistic way IMO to fix the issue is to not sell anymore packs. Sell virtual packs online where the buyer can see the contents of the packs before they receive them. Any resellers will know what’s inside of the packs making it a bad choice for them to buy packs to try and resell and parents can still buy packs for their kids without them knowing what’s inside. Everyone gets their packs straight from the source and them having labeled whats already inside the packs will deter any scalping. Like I said way too unrealistic with many flaws but that’s one of the only ways I can see scalping stop completely. If you could buy a random pack from a stranger vs buying a 100% legit pack online everyone obviously would buy online. It’s just stock is the issue and people are going to buy sealed product to invest the only way to get rid of that is get rid of the “gamble” part that the scalpers try to sell you.
