Why waste time making the shiny if we don’t get them? Just focus on making a better game instead of coding in a 2nd model that should never be used.

I kept messing up on catching Lugia in the og Silver, so i kept reloading my save, and eventually ended up catching a shiny Lugia, i couldnt believe it

Many more pokemon were supposed to be shiny locked before BW released. Most of them failed to do so, like the WISHMKR/Channel Jirachi in gen 3 or the Manaphy egg. They have bugged code and allows them to be shiny. But the Ageto Celebi is a successful shiny lock attempt. Honorable mention to the shadow Pokemon failed lock in Colo but they “fixed” it in XD.

Huh.. I could’ve sworn the Alola starters were shiny locked, and it was a whole huge fuss. But I just looked it up, and you’re right.

Is this a Mandela Effect thing? Or is it just me?

I don’t mind the shiny locks on the Starters, that’s why we have breeding. It’s not the end of the world.

As a certified madman, I have obtained at least 1 Reshiram from every game you can catch it, with me getting one shiny for every game where it isnt shiny locked.
