PokemonCards that are sold in Japan, known as “Pokemon Cards”, have been facing a major issue for several years now. This issue is referred to as “over-packaging”.
Over-packaging refers to the excessive amount of packaging materials used for each individual Pokemon Card pack. In Japan, Pokemon Cards are sold in packages which include 5 to 10 cards per pack, and each of these packs is wrapped in extra layers of unnecessary plastic, paper and cardboard.
This over-packaging leads to several negative effects on the environment. The excessive use of plastic and paper not only produces unnecessary waste but also contributes to the depletion of natural resources. In addition, the disposal of the excess packaging materials also causes pollution and harms the ecosystem.
Moreover, this over-packaging also has a direct impact on the cost of Pokemon Cards. The additional packaging materials contribute to the overall cost of production, which ultimately leads to an increase in the price of Pokemon Cards. This makes it more difficult for children and avid collectors to purchase these cards.
In recent years, many efforts have been made to address this issue. For example, some card companies have started to use more eco-friendly packaging materials or have reduced the amount of packaging used. However, these efforts are still not enough to fully solve the problem.
As consumers, it is important for us to be aware of the environmental impact of our purchases and actively support companies that are taking steps towards more sustainable practices. In the case of Japanese Pokemon Cards, this could mean choosing to purchase from companies that use eco-friendly packaging materials. By making more environmentally conscious choices, we can help reduce the negative impact of over-packaging on the environment.
I give this a a 95% chance of being real. It’s already known that the reprint is more glittery than the original print. I can only assume that’s what’s happening here. What I find more interesting is that first print from the GX era seems to be back. If you don’t know what that is just ask and I’ll explain
0.69/10 video , I clicked off the video the second you spoke
L boso thought that the glaceon was real
LMAO calling out the Reprint Richards
Great video gotta make more due diligence i guess when buying high end cards
I’m not sure there are fakes… yet… in Hong Kong when the eevee heroes reprint came out, collectors here identified different texturing between the first batch when initially released and the reprint. We had side-by-sides showing the differences. Also, for the simplifiied Chinese cards (which we will get in HK as well), we have confirmed that the printing will be in Japan as its clearly labeled in Chinese
I’ve seen a Leafeon V Full Art without the leaf texture. Either they faked an entire box, pulled the secret and planted a fake pack with a very convincing fake full art, or there are errors in the printing process.
Also I’ve pulled cards from very convincing fresh boxes that seem off. Again either we’re getting duped at a grand scale or sometimes there are quality differences in the production process.
