The dev team is already comparatively small at least when considering the release windows they’re already struggling to meet. The thing with these vocals is they’re short, isolated, and they don’t need translated. Full voiced dialogue is just not something Pokémon can do unless someone at the company figures out these release windows are too short for their team with the size of game they’ve grown into.

I used to be against voice acting in the mainline games, but then after I got into Persona… Yeah, the newgen games could definitely benefit from it.
